Tips to Show You How to Jump Start Another Car

To easily jump-start another car, all you need are safety goggles, gloves, jumper cables, and a wire brush. Once the cars are nose-to-nose, turn off the engine and the car lights. Open the hoods and use the wire brush to clean any corrosion on the terminals of both batteries.

Volvo to Build Next Gen XC90, Add 1,900 Jobs at South Carolina Plant

In September, Volvo Cars reported that the company has decided to manufacture its next-generation XC90 SUV at the new plant in Berkeley County, South Carolina. This is the second vehicle to be assigned to the plant, with the move raising Volvo Cars' total investment in their U.S. manufacturing operations to more than $1.1 billion.

TAWA Names the Volvo XC60 the 2018 SUV of Texas

The Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA) recently announced that the Volvo XC60 had been awarded the title of 2018 SUV of Texas, with the all-new SUV also earning awards for Best Connectivity and Best Powertrain. The awards were handed out at this year's Texas Truck Rodeo, which occurred over a two day period at the Longhorn River Ranch.

Volvo and Uber Launch Self-Driving Pilot

Volvo Cars and Uber, the ride-sharing technology company, recently announced a collaboration on the expansion of Uber's self-driving pilot in San Francisco, California. In the pilot, Uber will use specially converted self-driving Volvo XC90 premium SUVs. After purchasing the XC90 SUVs from Volvo, Uber then installed its own self-driving hardware and software packages.

Volvo S90 Named Finalist for 2017 North American Car of the Year

According to a press release issued earlier today by Volvo Cars, the all-new Volvo S90 luxury sedan has been named a finalist for the 2017 North American Car of the Year Award. If the S90 take home the title, it will mark the second consecutive North American ‘of the Year’ for the Swedish automaker. Last year, the XC90 SUV took home top honors for 2016 North American Truck/Utility of the Year.

The S90 also earned recognition as the top luxury in Motor Trends 2017 Car of the Year competition.
